Awaken the warrior in you
Each of us has a tool in our mental space, a weapon that unfortunately very few get to know about. This extraordinarily powerful weapon is called AWARENESS.
Awareness translated means -with your science-. The cause of most of us gaining weight is unconscious food consumption
Please do not confuse the term unconscious used in this context with the term - unconscious - used in the medical field
In what I'm trying to teach you, the word unconscious means - without knowing - that is, over the years you followed a series of habits that you didn't know would lead you in the wrong direction or even if you knew you couldn't do anything because once what we do repeatedly, that something becomes easy. Once we learn something, we will execute it easily.. without needing to keep repeating.
in this case, you have repeated some eating habits that are very difficult to change because this requires awareness.
To use a comparison to understand more easily is like after years in which you used your right hand to write, now you try to write with your left.... Of course you will make some letters, numbers that look like hieroglyphs but seeing as difficult as it is to reprogram yourself to write with your left hand you will give up quickly.
I want you to understand exactly what I am teaching you here, because once I have ignited this understanding in your mind, 70% of the journey ahead with me is guaranteed to be a success. Please re-read these little lessons a few times, because here is the secret.
there are 4 levels of awareness that accompany certain skills of ours and here I am strictly referring to the habits related to the way we eat, namely:
1. Unconscious Incompetence - This is the case of those who do not have the slightest idea of how to eat to be healthy and fit, but are not interested in eating healthy or learning.
2. Conscious incompetence - This is the second level at which most of us find ourselves, meaning that you realize that you are eating wrong, you propose to change this but you don't succeed, when something you like appears you immediately give it up, it also applies to other harmful habits such as smoking, alcohol, etc.
3. Conscious competence - You found yourself on this level whenever you managed to refrain from eating certain foods that you knew made you fat or you abstained from smoking for a while.
Your mistake was that you didn't stay here long enough to advance to the next level.
4 Unconscious Competence - This time you become so aware of what you eat that you have no interest in eating anything other than what cultivates health and a strong physical appearance..no need to control yourself like you did in level 3 Because now you have learned this and it is part of you.. it is the case of those who you see and never crave, to eat anything but strictly their food that keeps them in shape ... We call them ambitious, but I prefer the term hyperconscious .
Try to create an awareness slider in your mind, just like on a music mixer, where you mentally add levels 2 and 3. When you feel yourself coming back to 2 where the majority sit, remind yourself to raise it to 3. You will come back to 2 soon enough often because you have been there for years, but without much hesitation pick it up whenever you are tempted to go out of the plan you will receive from me. Keep this in your mind daily and repeat, repeat, repeat.
